Frans begins his career in 1996. In highschool he starts the band Silkstone with his friend Niels Geusebroek. Right away he starts writing songs for the band.In 2002 the band is signed with BMG. In 2003 the band hits the charts with 4 songs and gets lots of airplay on TV and radio. They  get to play on the biggest festivals in Holland. He started writing for the new Silkstone album ´Here in your World´ witch made its´ debut in February of 2008. The first single of the album reaches a number 9 position in the Dutch charts in March.

Over the years he got interested in producing music in different styles. He wrote for different artists and bands and fell in love with sound. He started his own music company next to the band and is now one of the lucky ones who can do what they love for a living.
